Q...How to use the hand programmer and what are the basic menu items I will use?


Button A: is used to go forward whilst in the menu.
***NOTE: This will also give you 1 free vend when not in the menu.
It is used for the 00:01 digit advancement when pricing.

Button B: is used to go backwards whilst in the menu.
If you hold this button down when not in the menu it will display the cabinet temperature.
It is used for the 00:10 digit advancement when pricing.

Button C: is used to enter and exit the menu.
It will also exit when in a selected menu.
It is used for the 01:00 digit advancement when pricing.

Button D: is used to enter the desired programme in the menu.
It is used to enter/lock in any changes that are made in selections.
It is used for the 10:00 digit advancement when pricing


PROGRAMMES:

001: Remove coins from the mech MDB/SINGLE PLUG ON COIN MECH ONLY, push “D” then “A”, “B”, “C”, “D” to empty the coin mechanism.

002: Add coins to the coin mech (TUBE FILL) MDB/SINGLE PLUG ON COIN MECH ONLY, push “D” then load coins through the validator.

110: Display the amount of money taken per selection, Push “D” then the selection to show the amount.

111: Display the number of units sold per selection, Push “D” then the selection to show the number of units sold.

120: Display the total amount of money taken for the selections, Push “D” and it will display the amount.

121: Display the total number of units sold, Push “D” and it will show the total number of units sold.

171: Use to erase the above accounts push “D” to execute.

201: Price change Push “D” then the selection now change the price using mainly the “B” for 10c increments and “C” for $1.00 increments.

223: Maximum allowable credit MDB/SINGLE PLUG ON COIN MECH ONLY, hold down the “C” till “Function 000” appears then use the “A”, “B” & “C” to type in 223, Push “D” to enter then change the amount to $10.00.

468: Adjusts the temperature of the cabinet, Push “D” then the first digit will flash, to increase use the “A” to decrease use the “B”, Push “D” to move to next digit then the “D” again to exit.

510: Adjusts the date and time, this is done in the same manner as above, as you make your changes use the “D” to advance then finally it will lock in the changes.




Q…How do I change the prices for selections?

A...Press button “C” on the hand control unit or the “Red” button on the back of the display.

  1. Press button “A” until “Function 201” (Change prices) appears on display.
  2. Press button “D” to enter.
  3. Press selection to be changed.
  4. Note: first press the “C” button to zero the price of the selected item.
  5. Using the hand control unit as follows to program the new price.
  6. A = 1 cent
    B = 10 cents
    C = $1
    D = $10

    Example: New price $17.50
    Press D, D, C, C, C, C, C, C, C, B, B, B, B, B
    = Zero, $10, $1, $1, $1, $1, $1, $1, $1, 10c, 10c, 10c, 10c, 10c

  7. Press next selection to continue, or red “COIN RETURN” button to exit the menu.



Q...How do I reset a Fault?

A...Press the “Red” mode button behind the display.

  1. Press the red coin return until “Function 110” is displayed.
  2. Press the “Red” mode button behind the display to exit menu.



Q...What Maintenance is needed for this Model?

A...The main item is ensuring that the Condenser is always kept clean.
This is easily done by brushing the finned coil in a downward motion (coil is visible when the door is opened and is located in the middle at the bottom of the machine)




Q...How do I change the Display?

A...TURN OFF POWER FIRST.

  1. Remove the 2 nuts holding the coin chute in and remove the coin chute.
  2. Unplug the display board.
  3. Remove the screw holding the display in place
  4. Unclip the display from the clear clips all around.
  5. Unclip the use correct change light shroud and attach it to the new display board.
  6. Refit the new display board to the door on the clear clips.
  7. Plug in board.
  8. Refit coin chute.



Q...How do I remove the Door?

A...Open the door first

  1. Remove door catch at the bottom left hand corner, just remove the bolt & swing it out of the way.
  2. Remove all the surrounding bolts that hold the anti-theft plates on one plate at either side & one at the top, you will also have to remove the screws that hold on the chrome covers to gain access to the top section.
  3. Remove metal covers that surround the condenser left hand side only, this will gain access to the wiring harness.
  4. Remove the metal plate that cover the refrigeration pipe & wiring harness, 2 screws only.
  5. Disconnect all of the wiring in the first shelf please note marking the wires are a good idea for reassembling. Also wiring for the refrigeration, lights, & power supply will have to be disconnected, these are located at the bottom left hand corner.
  6. Place pallet truck under the door to secure & hold the weight, good idea for second party to assist on removal.
  7. Remove 2 bolts that affix the top door hinge to the cabinet.
  8. Raise pallet truck to clear pin on bottom door hinge.
  9. Door should be removed with care
  10. To refit door follow steps in reverse.



Q...Problems with the coin mech & note reader not responding correctly?

A...Make sure you only have one protocol connected MDB OR EXC connected to the machine.

MDB is the first plug facing you above the coin return motor, 1 wire connected only.
Executive is the 2 larger connections behind the first plug.




Q...How do I reset a Column after it jams (Error displayed A-02)?

A...If you ever have a column that jams you need to action the follow procedure.

  1. Empty the column & remove the jammed product.
  2. Press “Red” mode button on the back of the display for “FO41” to appear, (red button is located inside of door above coin mechanism).
  3. Press “D” button to enter and “column” will be displayed.
  4. Press “A” button to select jammed column.
  5. Press “D” button and “Position” will be displayed.
  6. Press “A” button and allow the motor to run keep doing this until number “15” appears, press the “A” button once more and a beep is heard.
  7. That column is now reset, restock column by loading product right to left with 12 cans or bottles for test vending.
  8. Test vend that column an equal amount of times i.e.: 2,4,6 & if all is ok fully stock the column.
  9. If you need to reset more than 1 column repeat steps 1-8.

***NOTE: Remember when loading an empty triple or double depth column always load the cans or bottles on the right hand side first then left hand side.
